Position Description:
Provide Desktop Support for our users and maintenance on computer equipment
Duties:
- Router install and maintenance
- Desktop Computer setup and maintenance
- Printer installation and maintenance
- Network Cable installation and maintenance
- Networking Equipment installation and maintenance
- Moving furniture to access/move computer equipment/cables
- Trouble shooting computer issues
- Working with development to solve system issues
- Create/Delete Email accounts
- Setup email archive accounts
- Install SSL on Synology’s
- Monitor office internet connections
- Keep all computers OS up to date
- Setup scan to email and scan to folder on printers
- Setup cloud sync on NAS
- Setup Barcode scanner on printers
- Trouble shoot barcode scanning issues
- Help users setup email on personal devices
- Adjust internet browser settings
- Setup check scanners
- Setup desktop scanners
- Working with venders to solve issues
- Like Zoom, work with there support to solve phone issues
- Setup and maintaining of IP phones
- Port forwarding on routers
- Setup mini network environment in Teslas for remote printing.
- Create system users and assign rights
- Create/Delete eFax’s
- Provide users with training, one on one or create training videos
- Install Outlook Plugins for users.
- Work after hours to install updates and run computer scans
- Assist in moving users/computer equipment to different locations
- Visit each office every month
- Setup office TV for zoom meetings
- Setup conference rooms for meetings
- Setup of new offices. May include running new network cable, assembling furniture, building racks for
- network equipment.
- Assist in removing networking equipment and computer equipment from a closing office.
- Working some weekends to help setup equipment/test system/install updates and computer scans.
- Create/Delete Zoom phone numbers and setup physical phones.
- Maintain software licenses. Like adobe.
- Help users with possible phishing email and train them now to recognize them
- Create outlook out of office responses and outlook rules for users
- Setup/Delete users with our 3rd party software like Data Trace/Tree
- Recover equipment from users that no longer work for Driggs Title
- Format and reinstall OS on pc/mac
- Setup remote printers and drivers
- PC BIOS, adjust settings
- Fix PC registry issues
- Talk calmly and respectfully with all users
- Travel between offices
- Setup/use FTP
- Copy and restore computer files
- Attend morning huddles
